04:16 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Volvo Buses, a unit of AB Volvo (VOLV-B.ST, VOLV-A.ST), d/b/a Volvo Group, bagged an order from the City of Cape Town in South Africa for the supply of 38 Volvo BZR low-entry electric buses. Gauteng Bus and Coach Centre in Johannesburg will manufacture the bus bodies locally, with the first delivery due in 2027, according to a Thursday release.
