04:23 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tharisa (THS.L, THA.JO) said Thursday that Karo Platinum unit entered an offtake deal under a binding purchase of concentrate term sheet with platinum miner Valterra Platinum (VALT.L, VAL.JO) unit. The agreement has an initial term of five years and covers platinum group metals and base metal concentrate from the mining, metals and innovation company's Karo Platinum Project in Zimbabwe. Karo Platinum is 85%-owned by Karo Mining Holdings, in which Tharisa holds a 78.81% stake.
