DougC.com chronicles one man's transformation while giving men 35 and older free, practical information on Health, Lifestyle and Style.

HERKIMER, N.Y., Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- At 72 years old, Doug Christman looked in the mirror and made a decision: Enough is enough.

Doug Christman, founder of DougC.com, in the DougC Library, where men 35 and older can explore free guides covering Health, Lifestyle and Style.

Rather than accepting getting older as a reason to stop caring about his health, appearance, lifestyle or how he presented himself to the world, Christman began what he calls his transformation into Doug 2.0 — a deliberate effort to become a better version of the man looking back at him.

What began as a personal journey soon became something larger. As Christman researched, changed old habits, tried new approaches, made mistakes and discovered what worked for him, he realized other men were asking many of the same questions — especially men over 35 who wanted to improve themselves but did not necessarily know where to begin.

That realization led to DougC.com, a free website Christman designed and built himself to document his continuing transformation and share what he discovers along the way.

The site is built around three connected pillars: Health, Lifestyle and Style. Health provides the foundation for feeling better and maintaining energy. Lifestyle covers the habits, routines, interests and choices that shape everyday life. Style includes grooming, clothing, appearance and how a man presents himself to the world.

"I'm not trying to turn anybody into me," said Christman, founder of DougC. "I want men to decide what the best version of themselves looks like — and give them information that might help them get there."

DougC approaches its audience differently. Christman does not present himself as a finished product, lifestyle guru or expert telling other men how to live. His own transformation is still underway, so readers see the discoveries, experiments, successes and occasional failures that are part of improving oneself in the real world.

For Christman, Doug 2.0 is not about trying to become young again. It is about taking responsibility for the years ahead and asking a more useful question: What can I still become?

DougC was created to help other men ask that question for themselves — and give them a place to start looking for answers.
