According to Zhitong Finance App, China Life Insurance (601628.SH) disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating income of 434.307 billion yuan, up 81.5% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 134.489 billion yuan, up 228.6% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company after deducting non-recurring profit and loss was 134.56 billion yuan, an increase of 228.1% year on year; basic income per share is 4.76 yuan; the company plans to distribute cash dividends of 0.358 yuan per share (tax included) to all shareholders.

By the end of the reporting period, the company's total assets reached 8.09 trillion yuan and net assets reached 677.896 billion yuan, up 6.6% and 11.4% respectively from the end of 2025. The included value reached 1.61 trillion yuan, ranking first in the industry.

During the reporting period, the insurance business reached a new high. The premiums for the new policy reached 180,039 billion yuan, an increase of 11.6% over the previous year; total premiums reached 536.634 billion yuan. The value of new business reached 38.167 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a rapid increase of 33.7% over the same period last year.
