According to the Zhitong Finance App, CGN Mining (01164) announced its 2026 interim results, with a turnover of about HK$2,025 billion, an increase of about 19% over the same period in 2025. The loss attributable to company owners was approximately HK$80 million, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The basic loss per share was approximately HK1.05 cents.

The main reason for the increase in losses was the year-on-year decline in natural uranium sales volume and the year-on-year increase in unit sales costs in the first half of 2026, which led to a year-on-year decline in profit between the two companies in the first half of 2026, causing the Group to account for a joint venture and a related company's investment income to decrease accordingly compared to the same period last year.

As of December 31, 2025, the Group's total equity reserves were 17,600 tU; equity production in the first half of 2026 was 612 tU.
