01:38 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Elliptic Laboratories (ELABS.OL) said Friday it received its first commercial order for smart wearables from an unnamed original design manufacturer, marking its expansion into a new device category. The Norwegian artificial intelligence software company said its AI Virtual Smart Sensor technology will be used for proximity and approach-based sensing under the contract, with commercial launch expected in the second quarter of 2027.
