Caledonia Mining Outlines Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Motapa Gold Project in Zimbabwe

03:34 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- London-listed miner Caledonia Mining (CMCL.L) on Friday reported a maiden mineral resource estimate for its 100%-owned Motapa property in Zimbabwe. The property is estimated to host measured and indicated resources of 7.8 million tonnes at a grade of 1.51 grams per tonne of gold, containing 379,000 ounces of gold, at a 0.5 g/t cut-off grade. The inferred mineral resources stand at 2.7 million tonnes at 1.48 g/t of gold, containing 131,000 ounces of gold, at the same cut-off grade.
