Caledonia Mining Says Measured, Indicated Resources at Blanket Gold Mine in Zimbabwe Jump 22%

03:47 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Caledonia Mining (CMCL.L) said Friday the underground measured and indicated mineral resource estimate for its Blanket gold mine in Zimbabwe jumped 22%. The measured and indicated resource estimate grew to 17.7 million tonnes at 3.83 grams per tonne of gold containing 2.2 million ounces of gold, compared with the December 2023 estimate of 15.3 million tonnes at 3.64 g/t of gold containing 1.8 million ounces of gold. The inferred resource estimate fell to 6.9 million tonnes at 3.35 g/t of gold containing 748,000 ounces of gold, from the previous estimate of 8.8 million tonnes at 3.74 g/t of gold containing 1.1 million ounces of gold.
