04:44 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bayer (BAYN.F) said Friday it filed a marketing authorization application in Japan to expand the use of finerenone in chronic kidney disease, or CKD. The application is backed by results from the German drugmaker's phase 3 FIND-CKD trial in adults with non-diabetic CKD, in which the drug, in addition to standard of care, significantly delayed kidney disease progression and reduced cardiovascular-kidney events compared with placebo.
