09:52 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saab (SAAB-B.ST) said Friday it completed the first flight of Gripen F, a two-seat fighter developed through a strategic partnership between Brazil and Sweden. The Swedish defense company added that Gripen F will now move to the airborne phase of its test campaign. Upon completion of the planned activities and aircraft acceptance procedures, Saab will prepare the delivery of the aircraft to the Brazilian Air Force.
