The Group's operating income was RMB 5.221 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.27%; net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 387 million, up 6.24% year on year; and basic profit per share was 0.02 yuan.
In the first half of 2026, the Group continued to implement various national decisions and arrangements on fee reduction and concessions, actively introduced measures to benefit enterprises and the public, further reduce the operating costs of the real economy and the burden on financial consumers, and focus on improving the quality and efficiency of financial services. During the reporting period, the Group achieved interest income of RMB 7.992 billion, a year-on-year decrease of RMB 526 million, or 6.2%. The decrease in interest income was mainly due to a decrease in the average annualized return on interest-bearing assets, which was partly offset by an increase in average balances. The increase in the average balance of interest-bearing assets during the reporting period was mainly due to business development and the increase in the size of the Group's loans; the decline in average annualized yield was mainly due to the advancement of interest rate marketization, the decline in interest rate levels in the macro market, the annualized return on customer loans, advances, and financial investment businesses, and the Group actively implemented various national policies on fee reduction and concessions.
