Metropolitan Development Company (MDC) started construction on The Ferguson, a mixed-use residential and retail community space in the rapidly expanding city of Taylor.

Located at 1300 W. Second St., The Ferguson is the first and only condominium project in town, anchoring the city’s historic downtown at the heart of one of Central Texas’s fastest-growing markets. The Ferguson is set to be completed in summer 2027. Units include residential condominiums, live-work units for small business owners, and commercial units.

The Ferguson brings a four-story, 82-unit development with various floor plans to meet each tenant’s needs, along with competitive prices for both renters and buyers. Taylor’s long-term growth is spurred by the soon-to-open $16.5 billion Samsung semiconductor plant.

MDC develops higher-density, mixed-use and master-planned residential communities across the Texas Triangle.
