According to the Zhitong Finance App, Weilizhibo-B (09887) announced its 2026 interim results, achieving revenue of 35.9.69 million yuan, R&D costs of about 191 million yuan, an increase of 44.92% year on year; administrative expenses increased 15.5% year on year to 41.4 million yuan, and loss during the period was about 222 million yuan, an increase of 33.38% year on year.
According to the announcement, revenue comes from 36 million yuan of revenue from the licensing agreement signed with Dianthus Therapeutics for LBL-047, including 5 million US dollars (or 35 million yuan) in licensing revenue obtained by reaching phase I clinical trial milestones in China, and revenue of 151,000 US dollars (or 930,000 yuan) from supplying pharmaceutical materials to Dianthus for use in planned clinical trials. In August 2026, the company received $10 million of option exercise fee revenue generated by the authorized party, Obleniobio, in retaining LBL-051's right to exercise the option. This brings the cash consideration received under the agreement to approximately $35 million, and it is expected that at least this amount will be recognized as revenue in the second half of 2026. Additionally, equity consideration will also be recognized as revenue in the second half of 2026.
The increase in R&D costs is mainly due to increased expenses and staff costs to advance the following projects: (i) advancing the four IND preparation phase projects through pre-clinical research and chemical, production and control (CMC) activities; and (ii) multiple late-stage clinical trials of Verisign®.
