AECOM (NYSE:ACM), the trusted global infrastructure leader, today announced its appointment as design partner for the Warkworth to Te Hana project in New Zealand, partnering with ACCIONA as the lead contractor. ACCIONA, alongside its partner Aberdeen Investments, comprises the Northway Consortium. The project forms Section One of three nationally significant roads along the broader Northland Corridor Program, a new 100-kilometer motorway connecting Auckland to Whangārei. Once complete, the project will upgrade the existing State Highway 1 into a higher-standard, safe and more resilient motorway.
