02:15 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bavarian Nordic (BAVA.CO) kicked off the repurchase of up to 250 million Danish kroner of shares under the first tranche of its planned buyback program on Tuesday, according to a same-day release. The Danish vaccine company aims to acquire as many as 4,365,000 shares for cancelation under the program ending on Oct. 30. Announced on Aug. 21, the share buyback program's maximum size is 750 million kroner.
