02:19 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AstraZeneca (AZN.L, AZN.ST) completed its exclusive license agreement for Zegfrovy, an oral irreversible epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor for patients with lung cancer. The agreement with Dizal Pharmaceutical Co. grants the pharmaceutical giant worldwide rights to develop and commercialize Zegfrovy, according to a Tuesday release. The company will make an upfront payment of $600 million to Dizal, with an additional payment of up to $900 million to be made subject to certain milestones. Dizal will also received tiered royalties from sales of Zegfrovy.
