03:26 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Operating conditions in Spain's manufacturing sector weakened, with declines in output, new orders, and employment, as rising energy prices drove input cost inflation, S&P Global said Tuesday. The seasonally adjusted S&P Spain Manufacturing PMI dragged down to a five-month low of 49.5, below the 50-point neutral mark, after 50.2 in July and the consensus estimate of 50.3.
