Veolia to Partner with Three Companies on Water Technology, Waste Treatment in Saudi Arabia

04:00 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Veolia Environnement (VIE.PA) said Tuesday it entered into memorandums of understanding with three companies in Saudi Arabia regarding strategic collaboration on water technologies and hazardous waste management in the kingdom in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives. The French waste and water management company will look to formulate better designs for seawater desalination plants with private water desalination company Acwa (SASE:2082) and improve water cycle and industrial waste management with mining company Saudi Arabian Mining (SASE:1211), d/b/a Ma'aden. Veolia will also deploy environmental technologies and develop an integrated facility management offer for water, energy, and waste management under a separate agreement with Khazeen, the liquefied petroleum gas storage business of Alghaz Waltsnae Co. Eligibility Alqabida (SASE:2080), d/b/a Gasco.
