05:53 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- 88 Energy (88E.L) said Tuesday that its Namibian joint venture made a formal application to enter the second renewal exploration period for Petroleum Exploration License 93 at the onshore Owambo Basin. The energy company holds a 20% non-operated working interest in the basin. The PEL 93 joint venture's second exploration period will commence Oct. 3, with at least one exploration well to be drilled during the two-year renewal period.
