06:09 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission approved the sole control acquisition of Italy's VTS by Irish technology consulting company Accenture (CSA.F, 0Y0Y.L). The European Union regulator said Tuesday that the deal, which mainly relates to the provision of IT services in the banking sector, is not expected to raise competition concerns.
