Roche Enters Licensing Deal for Simcere Zaiming's Antibody for B-cell-mediated Diseases

07:47 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roche (RO.SW) signed an exclusive global licensing agreement for Simcere Zaiming's tri-specific antibody being developed as a potential treatment for B-cell-mediated diseases. Under the newly signed agreement with the Simcere Pharmaceutical Group's subsidiary, the Swiss drugmaker will gain rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize SIM0660, according to a Tuesday release. Meanwhile, Simcere Zaiming is eligible for up to $1.53 billion in total payments, along with tiered royalties worth up to double digits on future net sales.
