08:41 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Telecommunications equipment group Nokia (NOKIA.HE, NOKIA.PA) launched its first research and development center in Saudi Arabia to develop artificial intelligence-powered network automation and orchestration software. The center will create software that will allow communications networks to self-configure, self-heal, optimize performance, reduce energy use, and operate more autonomously, according to a Tuesday release. It will also explore the development of AI-native 6G technologies.
