Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has been awarded a new contract for infrared windows, bringing Optex's Applied Optics Center back into the infrared coatings market.

Of note, this is the Company's first award from a prime contractor that has previously not been a customer of Optex. In addition, upon successful completion of this initial contract, the Company anticipates that follow-on orders for this program could be as much as $14.0 million annually beginning during the second calendar quarter of 2027.

With this new order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $26.5 million.
