PETALING JAYA: EXSIM Hospitality Bhd’s (EHB) wholly-owned subsidiary, EXSIM Concepto Sdn Bhd (ECSB), has secured a RM7.35mil contract to undertake the main building works for a two-storey temporary show unit at Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

ECSB accepted the letter of award from Lim Legacy Properties Sdn Bhd on Sept 1, with the contract scheduled to commence on Sept 7 and be completed within six months by March 6, 2027.

The project will carry a 27-month defects liability period from the date of the certificate of practical completion.

EHB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing throughout the project duration.

The group said the award is part of its ordinary course of business and does not require shareholders’ or regulatory approval. It constitutes a recurrent related-party transaction, with the required mandate having been obtained at EHB’s AGM in 2025.
