02:25 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wizz Air (WIZZ.L) said Wednesday its passenger traffic rose 25.9% year over year in August. The budget airline had a total of 8,699,468 passengers during the reporting month, up from 6,911,275 in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, Wizz Air's load factor for the month increased to 95.6% from 94.8% previously.
