Data show that in January-July, the large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry achieved revenue of 11.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 19.4%; operating costs of 9.38 trillion yuan, an increase of 16%; and total profit of 705.7 billion yuan, an increase of 1.05 times over the previous year. In July, the revenue of large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry was 1.67 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.7% over the previous year.

From January to July 2026, production in China's electronic information manufacturing industry maintained rapid growth, export growth rate rose steadily, industry efficiency increased dramatically, investment growth was obvious, and the overall development trend of the industry was good.
1. Production continues to grow rapidly
From January to July, the value added of large-scale electronic information manufacturing increased 15.4% year-on-year, 4.5 percentage points higher than the same period last year. In July, the value added of large-scale electronic information manufacturing increased by 19.1% year-on-year. Among the main products, the production of integrated circuits was 334.2 billion blocks, up 23.1% year on year; production of electronic components was 5.3 trillion, up 15% year on year.
II. Steady rise in export growth
From January to July, large-scale electronic information manufacturing industries achieved a cumulative year-on-year increase in export delivery value of 8%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points over January-June. In July, the large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry achieved an 8.4% year-on-year increase in export delivery value. According to customs statistics, in January-July, China exported 3.15 billion lithium-ion batteries, up 22.9% year on year; exported 2.74 billion household appliances, up 5.9% year on year.
3. Significant increase in industry efficiency
From January to July, the large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry achieved revenue of 11.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 19.4%; operating costs of 9.38 trillion yuan, an increase of 16%; and total profit of 705.7 billion yuan, an increase of 1.05 times over the previous year. In July, the revenue of large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry was 1.67 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.7% over the previous year.
4. Significant increase in investment
From January to July, fixed asset investment in the electronic information manufacturing industry increased 7.8% year on year, up 1.3 percentage points from January to June, and 5.6 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
5. Revenue growth in the central region is growing faster
From January to July, the central region of the large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry achieved revenue of 2209.5 billion yuan, up 1 percentage point from January to June; the western region achieved revenue of 1184.7 billion yuan, up 15.3% year on year, up 0.4 percentage points from January to June; the eastern region achieved revenue of 764.36 billion yuan, up 14.1% year on year, up 0.8 percentage points from January to June; Northeast China achieved revenue of 36.9 billion yuan, up 2.3% year on year, up 0.9 percentage points from January to June.
In July, the eastern region achieved revenue of 1146.3 billion yuan, an increase of 19.2%; the central region achieved revenue of 345.7 billion yuan, an increase of 52.1% year on year; the western region achieved revenue of 182.2 billion yuan, an increase of 17.4% year on year; and the Northeast region achieved revenue of 7.2 billion yuan, an increase of 3% year on year.
