11:51 PM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (BMPS.MI) placed a new green tier 2 subordinated bond due March 2037 worth 500 million euros. The placement received demand totaling more than 1 billion euros, the Italian lender said in a Wednesday release. The bond has an early redemption option after 5.5 years. The placement marks Banca Monte dei Paschi's third ESG bond issuance since July 2024.
