BioArctic's Partner Receives Chinese Approval for Leqembi Autoinjector

12:49 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BioArctic (BIOA-B.ST) said its partner, Eisai, received Chinese approval for the Leqembi subcutaneous autoinjector formulation as an initiation treatment for mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's disease or mild Alzheimer's disease dementia. The approval was granted by the National Medical Products Administration of China following a priority review designation, according to a Thursday release. The treatment is scheduled for launch during Eisai's fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. The approved regimen for the self-administered autoinjector formulation is 500 milligrams given once weekly as two 250-milligram injections.
