01:41 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Holcim (HOLN.SW) commissioned a new calcined clay production line at its Čížkovice plant in the Czech Republic. The Swiss building materials supplier invested 1 billion Czech koruna in the new facility, which will enable it to supply 580,000 tons of low-carbon cement to its customers annually, according to a Thursday release. The investment marks Holcim's largest in the Czech Republic, with 330 million koruna funded by the Czech Ministry of the Environment's modernization fund.
