The Zhitong Finance App learned that data center power distribution and infrastructure product manufacturer Accelevation Holdings submitted documents to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday and plans to raise up to about 800 million US dollars through an initial public offering (IPO). The company plans to list on NASDAQ under the ticker “ACCV.”
According to data, Accelation is headquartered in Miamisburg, Ohio, and was founded in 2017. The company is responsible for manufacturing and installing electrical distribution and computer room infrastructure products for use within data centers. Its products and services include branch circuit soft connections (branch circuit whips), remote power panels (PDUs), and associated monitoring, thermal management, and field installation services, and integrates these facilities into factory prefabricated components.
The company earns revenue from product sales and installation and field service provided at customer sites. Its customers include hyperscale data center operators (hyperscale), managed data center operators (colocation), AI and cloud service operators. In 2025, the company's revenue increased 147%; as of June 30, 2026, the company had an order backlog of approximately US$1.1 billion. According to the data, the company achieved revenue of US$727 million in the 12 months ending June 30, 2026.
According to several previous market research reports, electricity demand for global AI data centers is exploding, far exceeding the elastic growth model of traditional IT loads. In the next few years, power grid builders such as US utilities may need to spend trillion dollars to upgrade old power grids on a large scale, and provide the strongest power capacity expansion resource support for the unprecedented new construction and expansion cycle of AI data centers led by tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
Needless to say, whether it is the upgrading of the power grid system or the “self-built power system” policy orientation, it is driving global power assets into a structural revaluation cycle fully driven by the AI computing power infrastructure construction frenzy. For Accelation, the company is expected to use this power asset boom to achieve good performance in IPOs.
