06:45 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) identified an isolated quality issue with the A330neo aircraft, prompting the European aerospace company to nearly suspend deliveries of the jet over the past three months, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday. Citing a company statement, the news outlet said the issue involves the aircraft's horizontal tail plane. Airbus said the root cause has been identified and that deliveries have now resumed, the report added. Airbus reportedly paused deliveries of the specific aircraft in June and July and only sent out one in August to Taiwan's Starlux Airlines, sources familiar with the matter told Bloomberg Airbus did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
