01:40 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk Foundation and Quantum Foundry Copenhagen intend to develop a new quantum chip fabrication facility in Copenhagen, Denmark. The 5,300 square-meter facility will boost the development of advanced manufacturing equipment for next-generation quantum chips and is expected to open in 2027, according to a Friday release. Novo Nordisk Foundation owns Novo Holdings, the controlling shareholder of drugmaker Novo Nordisk (NOVO-B.CO), as well as Quantum Foundry Copenhagen.
