02:25 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (NAS.OL) said Friday its passenger traffic increased year over year in August. The Norwegian low-cost airline carried 2,502,493 passengers for the month, compared with 2,417,665 in the prior-year period. On the other hand, the group's Widerøe airline carried 358,857 passengers in August, marking a decline from 366,575 passengers a year ago.
