Italian Monthly Retail Sales Down 0.4% in July

04:18 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy's seasonally adjusted retail sales declined 0.4% in July, after a revised 0.2% downtick in June, according to data from statistics agency Istat published Friday. Analysts expected a 0.2% rise for the month. On a yearly basis, retail sales were 0.8% higher, against the 3.1% gain the previous month.
