06:02 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Coloplast (COLO-B.CO) said Friday that Denmark's financial regulator exempted Niels Peter Louis-Hansen from making a mandatory takeover offer in connection with a planned transfer of a controlling indirect ownership interest in the company to a non-profit foundation. The proposed transfer is part of a generational change and follows the establishment of Coloplast Holding by Louis-Hansen and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond in 2023 to support the long-term and stable anchoring of the controlling influence in the medical device company Coloplast. Louis-Hansen, who is Coloplast's deputy chairman, expects to complete the donation and related transactions on Oct. 1.
