U.S. stocks were mostly lower, with the Dow Jones index falling around 250 points on Friday.

Shares of Quanex Building Products Corp (NYSE:NX) rose sharply following upbeat quarterly earnings.

Quanex Building reported quarterly earnings of 79 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 66 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $501.845 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $497.507 million.

Quanex Building Products shares jumped 16.6% to $21.90 on Friday.

  • TTM Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:TTMI) jumped 7.2% to $123.74.
  • Cohu Inc (NASDAQ:COHU) gained 6.9% to $49.17.
  • SanDisk Corp (NASDAQ:SNDK) rose 6.6% to $1,658.17 as technology stocks rallied and investors remained bullish on artificial intelligence-driven demand for memory infrastructure.
  • Ichor Holdings, Ltd (NASDAQ:ICHR) gained 6.4% to $56.22.
  • Attovia Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:ATTO) rose 4.5% to $25.29.
