04:25 AM EDT, 09/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Basic Industries (SASE:2010), d/b/a Sabic, on Sunday said its subsidiary got approval from the Ministry of Energy for the feedstock required to build a methanol production facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Tadawul-listed petrochemicals manufacturer's unit is Saudi Methanol Co., d/b/a Ar-Razi. The plant will have an annual capacity of 1.8 million tons.
