02:08 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Scandic Hotels Group (SHOT.ST) said Monday it entered a lease deal for a new hotel project in Freiburg, Germany. The asset, which is expected to launch in the autumn of 2027, will be refurbished into a 219-room hotel that features meeting spaces, restaurants, parking, and bar areas. The project is part of its partnership with real estate investment manager Iremis, which bought the Freiburg-based location.
