China Merchants has issued a notice on adjusting the trading limits for iron ore futures contracts. Starting from the time of trading on September 9, 2026, non-futures company members or customers must not open more than 5,000 lots in a single day for each iron ore futures contract. This daily position opening volume refers to the sum of the number of positions that non-futures company members or customers bought and opened on a single iron ore futures contract on the same day.
