In his first speech on the economy as the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer, John Healey also expressed his commitment to a 25% reduction in the burden of business regulation by the end of the current parliament, multiple news outlets including The Guardian reported Monday. The existing UK parliament is set to run until July 9, 2029, if no early election is called, according to its website.
