06:48 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Minerals explorer and producer Strategic Minerals' (SML.L) subsidiary Southern Minerals Group secured a two-year extension to its access to the Cobre magnetite stockpile in New Mexico, US. The extension, agreed through a third amendment to the existing magnetite sales contract, pushes the agreement's validity to March 31, 2031, from March 31, 2029, according to a Monday filing. All other terms of the contract remain unchanged.
