French Current Account Deficit Rises in July

02:51 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- France recorded a current account deficit of 4.7 billion euros in July, up from the revised deficit of 1.6 billion euros in June, the Bank of France said Tuesday. In the 12 months to July, France's current account deficit totaled 12 billion euros, compared with the deficit of 18.2 billion euros a year earlier.
