03:29 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gem Resources (GEMR.L) agreed to acquire Colombian gold processing business Crec Material from Chen Jie Lun in an all-stock deal worth 750,000 pounds sterling. Crec Material operates the El Yarumo gold processing operation in Cauca, Colombia, according to a Tuesday filing. The mining and mineral exploration company, which will execute the deal through its Hong Kong subsidiary GemR Corp., will issue 150 million new GemR shares to satisfy the purchase price. The transaction remains subject to regulatory clearances and other closing conditions.
