12:00 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fincantieri (FCT.MI) will support the transfer of two Italian Navy FREMM frigates, Carlo Bergamini and Virginio Fasan, to the Hellenic Navy. The Italian shipbuilder will also support the vessels' full lifecycle and involve Greek industry partners in maintenance activities and the integration of new systems, according to a Tuesday release. The transfer is part of an implementing agreement which follows a memorandum of cooperation and the declaration of intent signed between Italy and Greece in September 2025.
