01:21 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Midsummer AB (MIDS.ST) said Tuesday it teamed up with Indonesian technology industrial company PT Metalogika Rekayasa Sistem to develop a solar cell factory in Indonesia. The planned manufacturing platform for lightweight thin-film solar cell and photovoltaic module technology will have an initial annual production capacity of 20 megawatts, with potential expansion to 200 megawatts. Products from the plant will be sold both in and outside Indonesia. The facility will be held through a joint venture, in which the Swedish solar energy company will have minority ownership. The company will deliver manufacturing equipment and related services as part of the partnership.
