02:44 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aberdeen Group (ABDN.L) appointed Torbjörn Magnusson as chair designate, with immediate effect, according to a Wednesday filing. Magnusson, who was chair of If P&C Insurance between 2019 and 2025, will join the asset manager initially as a nonexecutive director and then succeed interim Chair Jonathan Asquith following regulatory approvals.
