06:12 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GomSpace Group (GOMX.ST) signed a memorandum of understanding with King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals to collaborate in satellite missions, space technology, research, education, and capability development in Saudi Arabia. The agreement enables the partners to explore areas of mutual interest and includes the development of a dual 8U Earth Observation satellite mission, according to a Wednesday release. The Swedish nanosatellite manufacturer will provide its expertise in small satellite systems, while the university will offer its academic, research, and engineering capabilities.
