09:49 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saab (SAAB-B.ST) said Wednesday it received a 2.9 billion-krona order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration to continue delivering concept work on future fighter systems. The new contract runs from 2026 to 2028, with extension options for 2029 and 2030. It follows the Swedish defense group and the Ministry of Defence agency's previous agreements in the last two years. The scope of work includes flying and ground-based demonstrators, advanced studies, and future system concepts for manned and unmanned systems.
