11:22 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Bank Research expects Next plc's (NXT.L) fiscal first-half revenue to come in higher than market forecasts when it reports its latest financial results on Sept. 17. The British retailer is anticipated to post group revenue of 3.54 billion pounds sterling, above the consensus estimate of 3.49 billion pounds, with EBIT amounting to 607 million pounds, the research firm said in its General Retail & Luxury Weekly industry update. "Investor concerns have stepped up across the discretionary space with concerns on Chinese spending in Luxury given weak data points and European spending given the increase in gas prices. Although the weather has turned more seasonal (colder and wetter) in the UK, it remains elevated in Southern Europe," according to the note. Deutsche Bank has a hold rating on the stock, with a price target of 160 pounds.
