Sobi Secures US FDA Fast Track Designation for Vexas Syndrome Treatment

11:42 PM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pharmaceuticals company Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (SOBI.ST), or Sobi, said Wednesday that it received the US Food and Drug Administration's fast-track designation for pacritinib to treat Vexas syndrome. Pacritinib is a dual IRAK1/JAK2 inhibitor in phase 2 development. Vexas syndrome is a systemic inflammatory disorder characterized by overlapping hematologic and inflammatory manifestations, with no approved treatments.
